Solstice exhibition
20 June - 20 JulyThe Solstice exhibition comprises two video projections shot in Wiltshire on the longest and shortest days of the year both focusing on Polaris (the North Star) with an orchestral soundtrack to explore the cyclical patterns of nature. The films were recorded for 24 hours from midnight to midnight, and then each hour was condensed into a minute, resulting in 24 minutes of footage. The music by composer Miguel d’Oliveira, creates an immersive environment within the gallery for people to explore their concepts of time.
